Biografía
Linea de trabajo : Funcionalización de arcillas para diferentes aplicaciones tecnológicas
Se lleva a cabo la utilización de minerales de arcillas naturales y modificadas para diferentes aplicaciones: obtención de materiales adsorbentes, refuerzo de otras matrices y sistemas de vehiculización de moléculas.
- Utilización de montmorillonitas (MMT) naturales y MMT modificadas por tratamientos químicos (intercambio catiónico: con moléculas orgánicas y/o metales). Para el tratamiento de efluentes.
- Modificación de la superficie de los adsorbentes (MMT) por tratamientos químicos (intercambio catiónico: con moléculas orgánicas y/o metales; y posterior tratamiento físico para la obtención de carbón.
- Modificación de la superficie de los adsorbentes (MMT) por tratamientos químicos (intercambio catiónico: con moléculas orgánicas o metales con propiedades bactericidas/fungicidas para su aplicación tecnológica, en diferentes matrices poliméricas, como por ejemplo pinturas.
- Modificación de la superficie de los adsorbentes por tratamientos químicos (intercambio catiónico: con moléculas orgánicas o metales, para su aplicación tecnológica, en diferentes matrices poliméricas con el objetivo de mejorar propiedades mecánicas y de barrera, como por ejemplo en adhesivos y látex.
- Desarrollo de materiales hibridos entre minerales arcillosos y biopolimeros para el desarrollo de materiales adsorbentes y sistema de vehiculización de moléculas de interés para industria agrícola y de alimentos, entre otras.
