La newsletter, titulada “Optimized tape casting process creates lithium metazirconate thin films for use as solid-state electrolytes” puede leerse en siguiente enlace: https://ceramics.org/ceramic-tech-today/manufacturing/optimized-tape-casting-process-creates-lithium-metazirconate-thin-films-for-use-as-solid-state-electrolytes/
Researchers in Argentina and Spain developed an aqueous forming route to obtain lithium metazirconate films for solid-state batteries. The researchers successfully created homogeneous, sintered, defect-free LZO tapes with thickness values close to 500 µm, bulk densities equal to about 81% of the theoretical density, and only superficial shrinkage of 19.9–22.6% after thermal treatment.
